  For over 30 years, DAV, PVA (Paralyzed Veterans of America) and the VFW (Veterans of Foreign Wars) have presented an independent budget and policy recommendations to Congress and the Administration.  This Independent Budget report serves as our organization's benchmark for properly funding the Department of Veterans Affairs to ensure the delivery of timely, quality health care and accurate and appropriate benefits.

 Virginia wins the first OPA Award at the National Mid-Winter Conference 

 During the Conference in February, The Department was awarded the Outstanding Performance in Advocacy (OPA) Award for Division 1 (large Departments), and our BPTL Tom Wendel was recognized as well.  Our legislative and Benefits Protection Team is serving Virginia's veterans well!
