Volunteer
Volunteers are at the heart of how DAV Department of Virginia keeps its promise to those who served, turning “thank you for your service” into meaningful action across the Commonwealth. Whether you are driving veterans to and from their VA medical appointments through the DAV Transportation Network or lending a hand in your community through Local Veterans Assistance Program (LVAP) activities, there is a place for you to make a direct impact in the lives of Virginia’s disabled veterans and their families. On this page, you will find ways to get involved—from becoming a volunteer driver to supporting local outreach projects—along with links to help you get connected and on the road to serving those who once served us.
