Virginia Veteran Cemeteries
Virginia is proud to honor its heroes with three state-operated veterans cemeteries, each dedicated to providing a final resting place of dignity, respect, and remembrance. Operated by the Virginia Department of Veterans Services, these cemeteries—located in Amelia, Dublin, and Suffolk—offer in-ground and above-ground burial options for veterans and eligible family members. The DAV Department of Virginia encourages members and their families to learn about these sacred grounds as places of reflection and gratitude for those who served our nation with courage and devotion
