CONSTITUTION & BYLAWS COMMITTEE
The Department of Virginia’s Constitution and Bylaws Committee is entrusted with maintaining the integrity and consistency of the organization’s governing documents. Throughout the year, the Committee carefully reviews all proposed amendments to the Department’s Constitution and Bylaws, ensuring they align with both departmental objectives and national standards. It presents recommended changes to the delegates at the Department Convention for their review and decision. Additionally, the Committee evaluates proposed amendments to the National Constitution and Bylaws, forwarding approved recommendations from the Department Convention to the National Convention for inclusion in the broader framework of the DAV.

Para 3: CONSTITUTION AND BYLAWS COMMITTEE
Para 3.1: Shall be responsible for reviewing proposed changes to the Constitution and Bylaws of the Department of Virginia throughout the year and presenting proposed changes to the delegates of the Convention for review and consideration by the body.
Para 3.2: Shall be responsible for review and submission to the Convention, for approval, proposed changes to the National Constitution and Bylaws with submission of approved changes to the National Convention.
